Jim Maioriello founded Connexus Concepts, in 2006, to help clients in the process industries implement Infor Optiva.  Optiva is an Infor enterprise software system, originally designed and developed by Formation Systems Inc, used by companies in the process industries to mange the product development process.

Jim was hired by Formation Systems and helped design and develop many of the core Optiva modules, and later on, worked with partners to design the modules used by regulatory groups in the Food & Beverage industry to manage label information.  Jim also worked with early adopters to integrate Optiva with SAP and other third-party systems using Microsoft BizTalk as an integration platform.  Most of these early integration solutions are still in use today.

We offer companies deploying Optiva as a PLM solution another choice when it comes time to build your implementation team. 

We have more than 15 years of experience with Optiva; both from helping to design and develop the software, and from helping clients implement the system.

Connexus Concepts is primarily Jim Maioriello.  

He started his career as an organic chemist, working at a start-up company developing new encapsulation technologies, and seeking partners in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and personal care industries to co-develop applications for new products. 

So, we have practical industry experience, are comfortable working with specialists and subject matter experts because we share a common language. 

We also helped develop Optiva so we understand how the core modules fit together to build the solution.  Plus, We're independent.  This provides us with a fresh and different perspective.   This combination is unique and makes us a perfect compliment to practically any Optiva implementation.
